Follow the story of a disparate community reckoning with the presence of a newcomer in a contemporary circus show for families. Created by Cora McHugh, Rockpool’s story highlights how difficulties can be overcome through kindness, co-operation.

This vibrant, contemporary circus performance will take place across 3 days, in 3 different locations in Woden: Eddison Park, Woden Square and Chifley Community Hub. Audiences are invited to decorate the performance space with rockpool creatures and plants.

About Clockwork Circus

Clockwork Circus was established in 2021 to provide local professional opportunities for early career circus artists as they outgrow youth circus. Since then we have become a fixture as roving performers at Canberra’s iconic Floriade and Enlighten events, and at regional events such as Batlow Ciderfest, Wagga Show and the National Cherry Festival, employing over 20 young artists. In 2025 we premiered our first show, Typo, to an audience of 300 at the Canberra Circus Festival. In 2026 we are taking Typo to Sydney Fringe, and creating our new project, Rockpool, with a new cast of young artists.
