A weekly drama class for ages 9-13 years. Explore the elements of acting in this fun term-based course!
Tuggeranong’s Funky Fairytales program is a chance for your kids to play theatre sports, work on improvisation, and create short spins-offs of well-known fairytales, culminating in a short performance in the Tuggeranong theatre.
Working with the program tutor, Daniel Streatfield, young actors will gain confidence in voice projection and characterisation, script writing, working in small groups and performing on the stage. Having grown up on the stage, Daniel brings a natural talent and academic qualifications to his theatre workshops. An experienced tutor in drama, writing and musicals, he brings out the best in his students with his humor and warm teaching style.

About the Tutor
Daniel Streatfield is the tutor for Tuggeranong Art Centre’s popular Funky Fairytales drama class. Dan has a great way of helping young actors gain confidence in voice projection and characterisation, script-writing, working in small groups and performing on the stage. Having grown up on the stage, Daniel brings natural talent as well as academic qualifications to his theatre workshops.
