Join Ellie Gilbert, family members and friends for a video compilation of Kevin Gilbert’s clarity when asserting First Nations’ sovereignty and the critical importance of Sovereign Treaty(ies) under international law and the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
About the Artist
Kevin Gilbert, Wiradjuri, is recognised as the first Aboriginal fine art printmaker. Gilbert is also a poet, playwright and activist. He led the Treaty ’88 campaign advocating for sovereign treaty/ies in the lead up to the Bicentennary and was instrumental is re-establishing the Aboriginal Embassy. He is also an award-winning author.
