A free-form course where you can expand your skills, develop your own projects and be guided by artist and tutor Sarah Murray. Receive technical advice, inspiration, and encouragement as you complete your painting. A great continuing course for those who have done previous workshops but beginners are also more than welcome. Create art and explore your ideas in a safe, collaborative working space where you can connect with like-minded makers and art lovers. All materials are provided, including paints, paintbrushes and surfaces.
About the Artist
Sarah Murray is an artist based in Canberra, Ngunnawal country, working primarily in drawing and painting. Their work explores a bodily experience of landscape, engaging the body within the time, space and place of the land. Sarah’s gestural and immersive works are made both in the studio and outdoors in the landscape. In 2021 Sarah graduated the ANU School of Art and design with first-class honours and since has been involved with various shows around Canberra and interstate.
