Hitting the Erindale stage for 2 action packed shows, Fresh Funk is delighted to present it Semester 1 show ‘Upon a Star’.

Using their unique brand of commercial hip-hop and contemporary dance, 300 young dancers from Tuggeranong Arts Centres flagship program Fresh Funk pay tribute to 100 years of Disney.

Re-creating famous Disney scenes, from Fantasia to the Lion King; Snow White to Tangled, Fresh Funk uses cutting edge technology coupled with video elements and a spectacular light show to envelop you in a world of fantasy and romance.

Expect to see all your favourite characters portrayed like you’ve never seen them before through hard hitting hip-hop choreography, coupled with a sense of humour, a truck load of props and dazzling sets.

Runs: Approximate two hours including interval.

About the artists 

Fresh Funk is Canberra’s leading hip-hop and contemporary dance program. Classes are available for all ages and skill levels. The program is about dancing, co-ordination, and enjoyment, with an emphasis on fun, fitness, and friendship.  Enrolments open at the beginning of each semester.
