Venues
Wood-Mico Theatre
Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s theatre is a charming and intimate venue perfect for almost any event; from theatre and comedy nights to music performances and film festivals. The venue is also suitable for rehearsals, lectures, seminars and conferences.
The Space
The Space is Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s premiere venue with stunning lake views, an intimate performance stage and a small bar. With a wide range of possible configurations, it is perfect for small corporate events, live music, comedy, rehearsals and even book or project launches.
Lakeview Office
This classroom/meeting room includes desks and chairs to seat up to 20 people and can be configured differently upon request. A television and HDMI cable, whiteboard and markers, and microwave are also available with your hire.
Dance Studios
Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s two beautiful dance studios are perfect for classes and rehearsals. With beautiful lake views and excellent natural light, Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s dance studios are excellent for performance classes and individual or group rehearsals in music, theatre, and dance.
Art Workshop
Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s workshop is an ideal location for art classes of all kinds. It features a large, versatile working space, as well as facilities for paint and oil disposal with the views of Lake Tuggeranong creating an atmosphere of creativity and inspiration.
Venue Hire Information
Public Liability Insurance
The TAC spaces are not available for private parties, as all hirers are required to hold their own Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20,000,000 AUD. A copy of your Certificate of Currency must be provided to secure your booking.
Hours
TAC’s operating hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday. Venue hirers can access the premises between 8am-11pm on Mon-Sat. Hires outside of these operating hours may be required to pay for the cost of a duty manager. TAC is unavailable for hire on public holidays and Sunday hires will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
TAC requires minimum 1-week notice for hires outside of normal operating hours.
Catering and Alcohol
TAC can provide basic tea and coffee facilities and provide bar services at an extra cost (with or without alcohol). However, TAC does not have the facilities to provide other catering. Hirers may provide their own food and non-alcoholic beverages with approval from TAC.
Staffing
TAC can provide AV technicians, ticketing support/ushers and paid bar service for your event upon request (extra charges apply).
Hirers can provide their own AV Technician, but they will need to undergo an induction and will only be permitted to use technical equipment if a TAC staff member is satisfied that they can do so safely.
