School Holidays
Sophie Edwards | Songwriting | 15 Apr
In this workshop, participants will spend a day learning the basics of songwriting in a supportive and inclusive environment.
ART & ACTION | 16 & 17 Apr
TAC’s April School Holiday program is a chance for young ones to show off their creativity in an action-packed day of visual and performing arts.
Short Courses
Yamile Tafur Rios | Exploring Still Life | 18 Feb – 25 Mar
Develop paintings using acrylic paints with artist Yamile Tafur Rios. Explore methods of application, paint mixing and use of colour, as well as investigating how different surfaces respond to paint.
PETER MCLEAN | PLAYFUL PRINTS | 20 Feb – 27 Mar
Join artist Peter Mclean for an exploratory 6-week printing course. Peter will lead you through different printing methods in a relaxed and playful environment.
Blaide Lallemand | Art Play for Curious Adults | 22 Feb – 29 Mar
Led by visual artist Blaide Lallemand, be introduced to the work of different artists each week, trying new approaches to art making in every class.
Ashley Bauman | Wheel-Thrown Ceramics | 22 Feb – 29 Mar
Discover the world of ceramics with artist Ashley Bauman. Ashley will lead you in making wheel-based work and aid you in investigating pottery techniques such as throwing, trimming and glazing.
Gina Chapman | Bugs and Buds: Watercolour | 13 May – 17 Jun
Artist Gina Chapman will lead you in an exploration of plants and bugs in this botanical course. Learn the techniques of observational drawing and how this relates to the taxonomy of plants and insects.
John Pratt | Walking the Line: Printmaking | 15 May – 19 Jun
Discover your inner artist with John Pratt as you explore simple printmaking techniques that will empower you to work with your innate mark-making impulses.
Steven Holland | From the Body: Anatomic Drawing | 17 May – 21 Jun
Investigate techniques for establishing proportion, working with perspective, while you explore human anatomy in this open, supportive and relaxed course.
FRESH FUNK 55+ | SENIORS DANCE CLASS
Fresh Funk 55+ is designed with older bodies in mind. Find your groove again – suitable for beginners as well as those with dance experience.

Make a Mess aims to get children excited about art! Under the guidance of a professional artist, participants will be encouraged to experiment, play, and have fun in the art room

Make it Matter introduces children aged 9-13 to art history as they learn about an artist each week and make their own artistic interpretation.

The Making Time art class for seniors, is an opportunity to make art in a fun and carefree environment.

Fresh Funk Juniors 9-14 | Performance Program
Fresh Funk offers 5 classes for the 9-14 year old bracket. Participants are sorted into classes on the basis of age, dance experience, and the number of students involved.
