Short Courses
Gina Chapman | Bugs and Buds: Watercolour | 13 May – 17 Jun
Artist Gina Chapman will lead you in an exploration of plants and bugs in this botanical course. Learn the techniques of observational drawing and how this relates to the taxonomy of plants and insects.
John Pratt | Walking the Line: Printmaking | 15 May – 19 Jun
Discover your inner artist with John Pratt as you explore simple printmaking techniques that will empower you to work with your innate mark-making impulses.
Steven Holland | From the Body: Anatomic Drawing | 17 May – 21 Jun
Investigate techniques for establishing proportion, working with perspective, while you explore human anatomy in this open, supportive and relaxed course.
Blaide Lallemand | Art Play for Curious Adults
Led by visual artist Blaide Lallemand, be introduced to the work of different artists each week, trying new approaches to art making in every class.
FRESH FUNK 55+ | SENIORS DANCE CLASS
Fresh Funk 55+ is designed with older bodies in mind. Find your groove again – suitable for beginners as well as those with dance experience.

Make a Mess aims to get children excited about art! Under the guidance of a professional artist, participants will be encouraged to experiment, play, and have fun in the art room
MAKE IT MATTER | ART 9-13 YEARS | TERM-BASED
Make it Matter introduces children aged 9-13 to art history as they learn about an artist each week and make their own artistic interpretation.
MAKING TIME | ART SENIORS | TERM-BASED
The Making Time art class for seniors, is an opportunity to make art in a fun and carefree environment.
CHAT AND MAKE ART | MIGRANT WOMEN | TERM-BASED
CHAT AND MAKE ART for multi-cultural women from south Canberra meets weekly in Woden
Art Lake T | NDIS Funded Art Class | Expressions of Interest
Tuggeranong Arts Centre is calling for expressions of interest from NDIS participants for an art class held weekly on a Friday for six weeks of the Term.
Sing with Toby | Community Choir | TERM-BASED
Sing with Toby is a community choir for Tuggeranong led by opera singer and choir conductor extraordinaire, Tobias Cole.
Funky Fairytales | Drama 9-13 years | TERM-BASED
A weekly drama class for ages 9-13 years. Explore the elements of acting in this fun term-based course!
ZEST | Dance for Wellbeing | TERM-BASED
ZEST: Dance for Wellbeing classes are designed for adults who want to experience the joy of dancing and keep their body and brain active and healthy, regardless of their mobility, skill or age.
One-Off
Networks Australia | Community Weaving | 11 Apr – 7 Jun
Visitors to the Pixel and Thread exhibition will have the opportunity to take part in community weaving sessions.
Lynne Flemons | Walk and Draw | 3 May
Participants will develop observational and imaginative responses to the natural environment around TAC using a variety of media and approaches to drawing.
Joe Chindamo | Artist Talk & Masterclass | 10 May
Experience Joe Chindamo and his world; as he recounts his remarkable musical journey and answers your burning questions about piano, technique, harmony, composition, or any aspect of music or life as a musician.
Rechelle Turner & Belinda White | Yuma Yarn | 15 May
Learn step by step, basic coil weaving techniques while enjoying wonderful live music. These yarning workshops are open to anyone – no experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

Come Write with MARION | Monthly
Come Write With MARION is a casual gathering of creative thinkers who meet monthly, to write and share ideas.
Every Body | Life Drawing | Monthly
A monthly life drawing class with a gorgeous casual vibe. Offering a low pressure, stress free environment, and a culture of relaxation and creative expression rather than a focus on technical ability.
For Kids
Creatives & Coffee | Drop In | Weekly
Drop in to Tuggeranong Arts Centre between 10am-1pm on Fridays for a free art activity and $3 cup of coffee.

Fresh Funk 18m – 6 | Littlies Program
Mini Funk, Funk Stars and Funky Monkeys. Classes from 18 months to 8 years.
Fresh Funk Juniors 9-14 | Performance Program
Fresh Funk offers 5 classes for the 9-14 year old bracket. Participants are sorted into classes on the basis of age, dance experience, and the number of students involved.
